So, this was a thing for a while. But I should explain: Teenage Trout wisely (well, as wise as he could ever be) decided that he should exorcise his Disneyland demons by just throwing that fanboyism into a new comic series entirely. Said series ended up being his comical take on Disneyland news of the day. Unfortunately, the fact that the comic was topical makes the strips rather hard to understand here in the future (not that it was easy to understand back then either).
This little adventure will last for the next three weeks, so I apologize in advance. On the other hand, this is why Troutcave Redux exists, right? You knew what you were getting into.
Anyway, today’s strip: Constable Al was a real person, though probably not a huge dick like in this comic. The idea here was that park security was punishing the wicked with appeasement rather than with actual security-related measures. I guess? I dunno, whatever. Believe it or not, this series of comics actually does improve, to a point.
Also of note: these comics used to be vertical, with three two panel rows. I made them horizontal for this archive, but that’s the only changes I’ve made (in keeping with Redux tradition).
